Alice Chan is an independent architect and interior designer based in Copenhagen, offering solutions across small scale architecture, residential renovations, new-builds, retail interiors, and custom furniture design.

Alice specialises in creating timeless, material-rich environments for private homes and commercial spaces—balancing function and atmosphere. Whether it's transforming a historic apartment, designing a new home, or crafting a custom furniture piece, every project is approached with a deep commitment to atmosphere, authenticity, and human scale.

Driven by a fascination for materials and construction techniques, Alice's design process focuses on an understanding of contemporary needs with time-honored craftsmanship. She sees architecture as both a technological challenge and a poetic gesture—each detail designed to feel intuitive, tactile, and emotionally resonant.

Her experience in bespoke furniture design brings an intimate understanding of craftsmanship into the architectural realm. Her past experience in high-end residential and furniture projects has sharpened a sensitivity to how spaces are made, and how they are lived in.

With multicultural roots bridging Italy and China, Alice’s perspective is richly layered—drawing from a blend of eastern and western design sensibilities. This cross-cultural foundation fuels a design approach that’s quiet, yet grounded, yet expressive, combined with an appreciation for natural materials, tradition, and thoughtful living.
